La Conner, WA – The Pacific Northwest storms that arrived recently have brought more snow to the mountains.  Nearly every resort is operating and many have continued to expand operations in the last week.  The skiing and snowboarding opportunities keep getting better by the day and forecasts are looking good for more snow in the mountains this weekend.  Here is a rundown of resorts operating or opening in the near future:  

WASHINGTON

49 Degrees North Mountain Resort is now in full operating schedule 9 am until 3:30 pm Friday through Tuesday.  For more information regarding lifts and conditions go to www.ski49n.com or contact Kenleigh Hobby, KHobby@ski49n.com or 509-935-6649.

Bluewood opened for the 2016-2017 season on Friday, December 9 at 9 am with operations through Sunday, December 11.  The resort will reopen for daily operations on Thursday, December 15 the Holiday season until Monday, January 2.  The resort will close at 2 pm Christmas Eve and all day Christmas Day.  For the latest on snow conditions and operations info go to www.bluewood.com or contact Loree Chase-Waite, Marketing Manager; loree@bluewood.com.

Stevens Pass Mountain Resort is operating daily from 9 am to 4 pm. The Pass Nordic Center opened for the season Friday, December 9 with 14 km machine groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. OREGON

Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort announced their opening day Saturday, December 10, 2016. Groomed runs will include Broadway, Variety, Vista, and Road Run, as well as the Lake Loop at the Nordic Center.

The resort will be open Saturday, December 10 & Sunday, December 11, from 9 am to 4 pm. Then starting Saturday, December 17, the resort is scheduled to operate daily through Sunday, January 1 for the holiday break. Mt Hood Meadows is operating daily from 9 AM – 4 PM daily. IDAHO

MONTANA

Whitefish Mountain Resort began the 2015-2016 season on Wednesday, December 7 with 5 Lifts, 17 Trails.
