The Pacific Northwest Ski Areas Association (PNSAA) is a non-profit trade association, which represents the interests of alpine and nordic ski areas located in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, California, Oregon, and Washington.

Our ski area members strive to provide skiers and snowboarders with the best possible winter sports facilities to ensure visitors to the mountains have enjoyable and memorable experiences.

The PACIFIC NORTHWEST SKI AREAS ASSOCIATION'S mission is to represent, serve, and promote the mutual interests of you, our membership.

The primary focus of the organization is to develop, coordinate and monitor programs designed to enhance the well-being of both the ski industry as a whole and its members individually. Specifically, the purposes of the Association are to energetically and professionally:

 

...SERVE AS THE SKI AREAS VOICE AND, IN SO DOING, SEEK THE INVOLVEMENT OF ALL OUR ASSOCIATION MEMBERS;

...PROVIDE YOU WITH AUTHORITATIVE, COMPREHENSIVE AND TIMELY INFORMATION ON THE OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES AFFECTING THE ASSOCIATION MEMBERS;

...COORDINATE PROGRAMS AT THE REGIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL LEVELS TO INCREASE DEMAND FOR THE SPORT OF SKIING;

...DISSEMINATE INFORMATION AND DEVELOP PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE THE SKI AREAS OPERATING PERFORMANCE;

...FORGE TIES AND DEVELOP COOPERATION AMONG THE OTHER SKI RELATED ASSOCIATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS;

...PROMOTE SKIING SAFETY AND AWARENESS AT ALL LEVELS;

...ORGANIZE AND PRODUCE EFFECTIVE MEETINGS FOR YOU AND YOUR SUPPLIERS;

...REPRESENT THE INTERESTS OF AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION CONCERNING YOU IN GOVERNMENTAL, LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY MATTERS, AND;

...PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR RESPONSIBLE CARE AND UTILIZATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES.
